We have an excellent team of enthusiastic volunteers who are committed to helping to relieve some of the distress associated with loneliness. We welcome volunteers from all age (over 18), social, ethnic and religious groups.
There are excellent opportunities for receiving on-going support, supervision and in-house training. Volunteers can also attend regular courses provided by other agencies. We value the time given by our volunteers and we are more than willing to pay petrol/travelling and out-of-pocket expenses.
Archway can only exist and do its work because we have a team of dedicated volunteers who give of their time. Here are some comments by current volunteers and answers to frequently asked questions. If you have questions that are not answered here, please do not hesitate to be in touch. As our leaflet states, we will do our best to ensure that you feel happy and fulfilled with us.
