Serving Those Hurt by Loneliness

Archway Friends do like to "give something back" to help others:

For example, we collect plastic milk bottle tops and two of our volunteers take them down to Southampton for reycling to raise money for "Gift of Sight"; a charity researching into sight conditions such as macular degeneration, the effects of which are known to a number of Archway Friends.

Following a talk from a volunteer from "Samaritan's Purse", Archway Friends and Volunteers were moved to contribute to the process of sending out Christmas presents to children living in poor areas. We were able to send seven full shoeboxes to children who would not otherwise receive a gift at Christmas.
