Annual Review - October 2009

This was very well attended, with over 70 people present. A sincere vote of thanks was extended to Peter Stevenson, who had served so faithfully in the capacity of Treasurer for so many years, and to Philip Clayton, who had stepped down from Chairing the Board of Management (but continues as a member of the Board).

Canon Glyn Evans was appointed as the new Chair and three new Trustees were received onto the Board. A new user representative was elected to the Core Group by the body of Friends.

We enjoyed an excellent talk by the Revd David Heywood (from Ripon College, Cuddesdon) on "What has the Church to say on the subject of loneliness?"  We finally enjoyed a slide show of some of the significant events of the past year.
